Baby Skyler!

I feel like Taylor has been pregnant FOREVER!  We've been so excited to meet this baby girl and she kept playing tricks on her mom, but she finally came about a week late.  Taylor invited me to be there when she had her and it was amazing.  Skye gave Taylor a run for her money for 23 hours, but Taylor was amazing and Skyler is beautiful and as sweet as can be!
Livi was much more friendly with Skyler before she was born...She's a little jealous now:)

Don't let her fool you.  She looks like she wants to see Skyler, but she really wants whoever is holding Skyler to hold her:)
Still Jealous.  She been known to push her away.  Hopefully their friendship only gets better from here!

Weston on the other-hand LOVES her!

Skyler Mae Brinkerhoff - so sweet!

We even drug Nic along with us to see his new Niece:)

Rave Run 2013

I started trying to run back in December and we signed up for the Rave Run as a double date with our friends Ellen and Jason.  Unfortunately, Ellen broke her foot and they couldn't go, but Eric and I had fun.  We finished is 27 minutes which is amazing for me.  Of course, Eric sprinted the last tenth of a mile or so and beat me, but it still felt like a win for me because I was ready to dance at the end and he could barely make it back to our car!  (I love you sweetheart...sorry to throw you under the bus on our blog!)

Tried Chocolate. LOVED it!

Flag Football 2013

Pre-game huddle with assistant coach Eric
And it begins!  Weston played flag football this spring and it was the first time he's done a sport where there was organized teams and games.  There was a little bit of pulling their own teams flags and running the wrong way, but it was so fun to watch them get better every week!

Running for a touchdown!
Side Lines

End of Season Celebratory Lunch
First Trophy Ever.  He was pretty excited!   Unfortunately Eric knocked it off the counter a couple days later and broke it.  I hid it hoping he would ask about it and so far so good.  Poor guy, at least he can't read yet to find out.

Easter 2013

We had a great Easter this year.  A  week before Easter I decided to try and make the holiday a little more meaningful so I ran out and bought the book A Christ Centered Easter.  We did a very basic version of each of the activities each day leading up to Easter and it was GREAT!  I only got one picture all week, but Weston's favorite part was acting the stories out (with our really elaborate costumes:).
Weston as one of the 10 Virgins with his lamp full of oil
A few days before Easter a friend had us over for a little Easter party and lunch.  It was so cute.  She filled eggs with the kids lunch and hid them around the house.  West was a little older and filled his basket with eggs pretty quick.

The three cute boys and their spicy drinks and treat straws.  Does it really get any better for a kid?
Cascarones- I had never seen these before, but they were so much fun.  Confetti filled Easter egg fight!

The younger siblings jealously watching and trying to get outside!

Finally made it.  This girl could stay outside all day!
Easter Day
Looking good on Easter Sunday

My mom put together a cute Easter egg hunt for Weston and the neighbor girls!

Counting his loot!

Livi couldn't get enough of the eggs.  She shook them all day until she figured out how to open them.  Then she realized they had candy in them and we spent the rest of the night trying to keep her from choking on jelly beans.

Thanks for the fun Easter Day Grandma and Grandpa

Playing with his prizes from the Egg hunt!

Snow Man

Weston loves the snow and always wants to build a snow man.  This was Eric and I's best effort back in March.  A little sad.  Luckily Weston is easily pleased!

Duck Hero

We were just hanging out and Weston went upstairs to play for a few minutes.  The next thing we know, he comes down the stairs as "Duck Hero":
Seriously love this kid!!!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Any reason for a party and fun food!

Face time/Bed time

Weston has really started to miss Eric a lot more when he travels, but technology helps a little:)

Shovelling Snow

A snow storm in February...Livi was not very happy with me.  She loves the snow, but hates the suit:)
