11th Annual "No Sugar February"

Okay, So the name may be a little misleading, but I love it still every year!!! It is a great way to get back on track with healthier habits and stay connected with GREAT friends!

The rules:
* Eat at least 4 servings of fruits/veggies a day (this tends to lead to healthier choice in the rest of your diet as well)
* Exercise a minimum of 20 minutes a day four times a week
* Do 20 push ups a day (You can space these throughout the day if you need to the first few days)

If you do this, you get one treat that week! For regular "non-treat" food, just use your best judgment as to whether it contains too much sugar (i.e. if you are making bread and it calls for 2 Tbs of sugar for the 3 loaves of bread...you're probably good!)

So it's pretty easy, not too strict, and a lot of you probably already do these things, but the more the merrier!!

Great imagination or Extremely delusional??

We've been traveling so much lately that Weston has decided he no longer like planes :( More about all the flights later, but I thought that his exhaustion might be contributing to his craziness. For records sake, here's how our weeks been going:

-Weston has decided that he no longer should sleep in his crib. He should sleep in his big bed (a twin bed that we have in his room) and that he needs us to stay with him until he falls asleep so that he can wake up several times a night crying that we aren't there??? Okay this one isn't funny.

-Two nights ago he refused to put pajamas on. I convinced him to put a diaper on, but he ended up sleeping otherwise "naked."

-This morning I told him we were going to go buy a gate for his bed so that he wouldn't fall off. He said, "So chickens don't get on." I wasn't sure if I heard him right so I repeated him. Sure enough, he wants to keep the chickens off his big bed. Even after he woke up from his nap he told me "no chickens on bed"????

-One of Weston's friends has a new little brother. This morning Weston told me, "Weston want wittle brother" I asked him where he was going to get a little brother? He responded, "a box." So I asked where he was going to get the box. He responded, "in the closet." Of course, where else would you get a baby from? Turns out when we went to look in the closet, there wasn't a baby. A few minutes later he told me "baby brother under couch" I was busy doing something so I told him we shouldn't keep him under the couch either, but then went about doing what I was doing. A couple minutes later I looked in on him, and he had taken the cushions off the couch and was scooping up something imaginary with his hands. He told me "lots of babies" and he ran with this little brother, put him in the closet and shut it???

-Also, in the store today, he was itching his ear and told me "get bug off"?

He just cracks me up. He makes up things that make sense (more or less) all the time (phone conversation with his friends, taking care of his stuffed animals, cooking pretend dinner), but his imagination is really taking to the next level these days:)

We have a lot of blog catching up to do, but I wanted to jot down these crazy things while I was thinking about it!

Oh...and this is what he does when we tell him to smile?
