Happy 6th Birthday Weston!

Weston decided that he wanted to have a food fight about 8 months before his birthday.  I said yes because it was so far away, but that kid's got a great memory!

I love this fun crazy kid!

Fall Days

Fall photo shoot

I bought a photo shoot from a beginner photographer at a fund raiser auction.  They weren't my favorite shots, but we got a Christmas card out:)

Weston was a little embarrassed, which I totally didn't anticipate, when our christmas cards came in the mail and this was the picture I used of him.  It was just too him not to use so I told him he shouldn't have done it if he was embarrassed:)

Happy Halloween 2014!

We have continued letting the kids choose our costumes.  They picked Minnie Mouse for me and a baby for Eric...Eric was mostly a good trooper, but I'm not sure how many more years he'll last with this deal he made:)

 The sweet sleeping pumpkin
Minnie came in from the cold to check our her loot while the green ninja and dad trick or treated into the wee hours of the night...or almost 9 o'clock.

Jordy's Blessing Weekend

We're going to have to find an excuse to get everyone to come visit us when we are done having kids.  I love these mini family reunion weekends.  We enjoyed the blessing, lots of food, smores, Waterworld (including lots of traffic and rain), and not quite enough time.  Everyone left and I felt like I still needed one more day with everyone.

The whole gang...everytime one of my kids has a big event, I always feel blessed to look around and see how much support and love they have!

The obligatory "silly" picture with the Nielsons:)
Me and the man of the hour:)
I could just sit and watch these two play all day.  They are two peas in a pod.  Right before this picture they had spent the hour telling each other jokes that may or may not have made sense, but they thought they were hillarious:)

Summer fun or Child Labor?

Breckenridge

We decided we wanted to do a little family trip before summer ended so we went up to Breckenridge for the weekend and had a blast!

Jordy at 6 weeks

Traveling with little ones is a bit tricky, but worth it.  I'm pretty sure the kids favorite part of our trip was the bunk beds they got to sleep on!  Weston is getting to a fun age where he can do so much.  We had to take turns doing things, but Weston got to do everything:  mountain bike, swim, fish, hike, alpine slide and the like.  He was in heaven and I don't think Livi realized what she was missing when she couldn't go so everyone was happy!
