Congrats Eric and Ashley!

My cousin Eric married a fantastic girl, Ashley, last weekend. I'm so glad I was able to go to the wedding even if it was quite an adventure getting home! (Thanks for the buddy pass Taylor and James!)







We got plenty of swimming in while we were hanging out at the hotel. Jay and Jessie even came up to hang out with us for a few hours and Hannah and Weston couldn't get enough of the water. Even when Weston was so exhausted that he started to dig his head into my shoulder he'd turn around and splash and then cuddle up and then splash. I'm not sure what he thought was better...the water...or the pool side food!

Happenings!

We had a great time on the 4th of July and had a bunch of friends over for a BBQ. We had all sorts of great plans for an outside BBQ and it rained all day so we had a close quarters BBQ inside. The sparklers on the porch may have been a bit of a fire hazard, but it's not 4th of July with out sparklers!!

And, just a note. We gave Weston a sippy cup for the first time a few weeks ago and he LOVES it. He is starting to learn how to actually use it, but I think he thinks it is just a really great teething toy that squirts watch out every once in a while. We have even gone out to dinner a couple times and he's stayed in the high chair the entire time thanks to this GREAT cup!

3 Fun Years!

What a great three years it has been! We've been busy enjoying every minute of our marriage and we have been so blessed to be able to do so much! We had work and school and lots of vacations, a few moves, a crazy puppy, and our WONDERFUL little guy, Weston! We've had a lot of fun together and I'll just speak for Eric and say we're so excited to keep going through the adventures of life together. Here's a glimpse of our marriage so far!
